FOX21-KXRM and SOCO CW-KXTU are currently accepting applications for a full-time Sales Associate in our Colorado Springs office. Your multimedia toolbox will include popular FOX programming such as NASCAR, NFL Football along with popular CW primetime such as The Flash, All American and Riverdale. A full suite of digital solutions ranging from search to social media management and advertising is also among the many marketing tools we have. You must have great communication skills, enjoy working in a team environment, be reliable, enjoy cold calling and close sales. Organization, understanding of digital marketing, entry level graphic design and entry level web building are also essential to this position. Job Duties:
• Be a Cold Calling ''BEAST''
• Be able to call and make appointments for sales staff on an on-going basis
• Be able to call and make appointments for designated sales campaigns
• Be able to put together targeted list for specific sales campaigns
• Maintain a list of potential leads, and follow-up with those customers
• Accurately input orders into the Wide Orbit software (digital and broadcast)
• Develop quality presentations for the local direct retail sales team
• Become familiar with FOX21/SOCO CW/Nexstar Products and Services:
• Showtime
• Weather Sponsorships
• Campaigns (We Are Southern Colorado, Military Matters, Recruitment etc.)
• Nexstar Specials
• Digital Products and Services
• Monitor the Living Local calendar and Living Local client appearance forms
• Assist Digital Marketing Manager in distributing Living Local segment videos to clients every week
• Setup FOX21 contests, deals and revenue tracking of sold deals
• Setup native advertising
• Design and send out sales related email blasts
• Schedule sponsored Facebook posts with web producer
• Place digital banner ads on FOX21 website
• Build and update sales related web pages for the FOX21 website, as well as monitor Google Analytics of those pages
• Create last minute digital banner ads and other digital creative in Photoshop and Canva
• Assist Account Executives by pulling digital reporting
• Setup of FOX Sports Streaming orders
• Manage and build paid Facebook posts
• Assist in miscellaneous tasks dependent upon day and sales related needs
• Assist in the planning and organization of station-wide events/initiatives:
• Showtime
• Other events as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Customer service is a must
• Strong understanding of digital marketing
• Basis design and html knowledge
• General understanding of the principles of sales
• Efficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to meet goals and track leads
• Highly organized
• Team player
• High school diploma (Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required)

Compensation
• Compensation range from $16.00/ hr + commensurate with experience and skill level.
