Reports to: Customer Service Manager
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 10am – 6pm extra hours required over busy periods. Fixed term contract until October 2022.
Role Description
The Assistant provides administrative support to the Customer Service Manager and so is a key part of the team for their events. The main aim of the role is to deal with answering customer enquiries for each of their events.
Events include Download, Wireless, Latitude, Wilderness, Reading, Leeds festivals and various one day events.

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Previous experience responding to high volume customer service queries over email
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to type quickly and accurately
• Professional telephone manner, customer service skills and experience
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good time keeping is essential
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task
• Good level of literacy and numeracy skills
• A flexible attitude

What the role includes
• Assisting the Customer Service Manager with festival customer service emails and calls
• Working to a timeline for achieving tasks, and meeting deadlines
• As delegated by the Customer Service Manager, updating the Event information when required.
• Regular liaison with all departments
• Attending meetings as required
• Any other tasks as delegated
