Responsibilities
The Vice President, Advanced Analytics will be an integral member of Fandango's Senior Leadership Team, acting as a thought leader and driver for the company with regards to data and analytical capability. With responsibility for both the Business Analytics and Business Intelligence Reporting teams (15-20 individuals), the Vice President will establish and maintain the overall data strategy and roadmap for Fandango, instilling best-in-class capabilities. Taking into account both internal and external stakeholders, this professional will leverage data to provide a vision for strategic growth, consumer insights, and growth initiatives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manage the Business Analytics, Data Operations and Business Intelligence Reporting teams responsible for company-wide analytics and the development of complex dashboards and reports to design premier reporting, data mining and data visualization.
• Determine, develop, and provide key metrics and insights across all digital media platforms (web, mobile web, apps, etc.), and communicate data insights and recommendations to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner, enabling timely and informed business decisions.
• Re-engineer existing processes as necessary to incorporate new and improved analytic frameworks.
• Evaluate, select, and implement new technologies and development tools for reporting, dashboards, and data modeling, while articulating the business case for investments.
• Participate in annual budgeting process for business intelligence needs.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum 12 years of experience in a Business Intelligence, data management and analytics-focused role within a digital/media environment
• Minimum 5 years of leading, building and scaling an analytics team specifically focused on product analytics and experimentation.

• Expertise in Omniture and self-service reporting solutions such as Tableau, as well as data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, SAS.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills, combining a flexible, strategic approach with attention to detail.
• Charismatic, dynamic leader and effective manager with the ability to lead, manage, develop, mentor, and motivate a team of staff members to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
