Job Description
Assists Wellness Manger on the day-to-day operations of all Bristol, CT wellness locations (Main Campus Wellness Center, North Campus Wellness Center, and ESPN Gymnasium). Including the management of local and regional recreational sports programming (intramurals). In addition, executes onsite wellbeing programs.

Responsibilities:
• Supports Management in the day to day operations of all CT Wellness facilities including Main Campus Wellness Center, North Campus Wellness Center and KidsCenter gymnasium
• Oversight of ESPN associated recreational and outdoor programs (intramurals).
• Assists in the management of regional wellbeing programming
• Leads in the development and implementation of innovative programs (specifically those offered at ESPN HQ) to deliver an outstanding employee experience to all employees by meeting the needs of ESPN's diverse and inclusive workforce
• Operates with a clearly defined structure of short and long-term goals
• Develops onsite specific programs based on employee need defined by personal health assessment data, program outcomes and feedback.
• Manages / facilitates employee education programs
• Assists Manager, Programming & Operations in the design of the wellbeing strategy per company initiatives and priorities
• Assists Management in the evaluation of metrics related to wellness
• Conducts ongoing research on best practices for center enhancements
• Monitors onsite program trends to ensure current onsite programs (activity based, onsite, intramurals, etc.) are meeting company goals to be an ''employer of choice.''
• Makes operational decisions as onsite ''manager on duty'' and policy recommendations to Wellness Manager or VP, DIW.
• Assists in making onsite program and participant activity decisions
• Identifies procedures that might require change or modification and adjusts the procedures of an operational unit or a specialty team
• Aids in controlling the risks, financial exposures and costs of assigned facilities, equipment.
• Interacts with HR Leadership Team regarding wellness operations, programs and initiatives
• Participates as directed in aspects of negotiations, for short-term and long-term outcomes and resources specific to onsite operations.

Basic Qualifications:
• 3-5 years' experience in corporate wellness
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required
• Holds one more certifications from various personal trainer and/or group exercise related organizations
• 2-3 years' experience in a training or fitness instruction role, preferably at a corporate fitness center.

Required Education
• High School diploma

Preferred Education
• 4-year degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion or related field preferred
