Job Description
The Sports Betting Analyst will help drive the short and long-term strategy when it comes to sports betting and fantasy at ESPN. This role will support delivering upon current and future ESPN partnerships, including data reporting and analytics surrounding those partnerships and the overall ESPN sports betting and fantasy businesses. Responsibilities:
• Oversee data analysis and partnership reporting related to sports betting efforts
• Work with internal BI teams, and external client teams, to create end-to-end funnel reporting, including the preparation of management dashboards
• Support the Sports Betting team with various analyses and presentations adapting and managing multiple projects at once
• Collaborate with Disney, ESPN Research, and external research platforms to identify key metrics and understand sports betting industry dynamics
• Lead strategic analytics projects that provide relevant insights and promote operational change
• Partner with Sports Betting leadership to drive data-driven decisions across the organization by leveraging analytics
• Deliver and prepare analysis and recommendations to high-level stakeholders and executives through all communication forms

Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years of Business Intelligence, Business Operations, Reporting and/or Analytics experience, preferably in a digital function such as Database Marketing or E-Commerce
• Experience in providing data-driven solutions leveraging multiple databases and business intelligence tools
• Experience managing cross-functional projects, liaising with multiple stakeholders in a variety of disciplines
• Demonstrated experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, PowerBI, Adobe Omniture, Coremetrics)
• Willingness to learn various BI tools (Qlik Sense, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and/or other visual presentation programs
• Experience with programming language (e.g., Python, SQL, C++) a plus
• Experience in sports analytics, business, or media a plus
• Bachelor's Degree, with either concentration or demonstrated proficiency in a quantitative subject matter

Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree in related field

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
