Senior Remote Operations Coordinator

Job Description

The Senior Operations Coordinator is part of a specialized group of people who focus on Audio, Communications and RF. This group supports all sports groups in the Remote Operation Department. The team also works alongside PCR Operations within the Bristol, Charlotte, LAPC, New York, Las Vegas and Woodlands facilities on ESPN's proprietary REMI, Live From Home, ViBox and REMCO workflows. We also service our international collegues in Mexico, Brasil and Argentina.

Responsibilities:
• Oversees the timely and complete delivery of required equipment to remote venues. This includes, but is not limited to Intercom (RTS/Riedel/Unity), ENCO, Waves, Audio Codecs, RF equipment and accessories.
• Builds, installs, trains, troubleshoots and performs limited maintenance on equipment & workflows.
• Provides one-on-one LFH Commentary System installations and training sessions for an extensive roster of names which includes some of ESPN's Talent.
• Maintain detailed budgeting & tracking for all ACRF equipment
• Works directly with Mobile Unit Engineering, ESPN PCR Operations and SEC/ACC/Big 12 School Production personnel to educate and integrate ESPN proprietary built equipment for our Live From Home initiative.
• Occasionally provides training and technical support for Operations Producers, Audio Technicians.
• Recognizes deviations from accepted practices and takes or suggest the appropriate next steps.
• Work is subject to regular review and is supervised for timeliness, accuracy and adherence to correct procedures and standards.

Basic Qualifications:
• Has organization, procurement, financial and logistics skills
• Knowledge of the communications, staffing, equipment and facilities elements of remote operations processes
• Has a minimum of 3-years of related communications equipment and facilities logistical planning
• Some travel is required.
• Able to lift 45lb equipment cases with assistance.
• Holidays, nights, and weekend support may be required on an occasional basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Has and applies an advanced knowledge of the communications, facilities, staffing and equipment aspects of ESPN's remote operations functions.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Advanced knowledge of Smartsheet
• Advanced writing skills

Required Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education
• Bachelor's Degree
