Job Description
The Programming Coordinator role will focus on two core objectives. External communication of Program Listings and support within the Digital Programming team.

Program Listings: Responsibility for creation and delivery of network/enterprise-wide programming schedules for all domestic and international networks to increasing number of external linear and digital programming and listings outlets with goal of driving, awareness, priorities, and ratings.

Digital Programming: Support and collaborate with Digital Programming management that oversee how ESPN is represented across DMVPD platforms including listings providers such as Gracenote; schedule ESPN's social off channel productions; Support for Director of Digital Media Programming in audience expansion efforts i.e. Esports, Dog Sports, Ocho content.

Responsibilities:
• Monthly Program Schedules for all of ESPN's linear TV and other (ESPN3, alternate nets, VOD, ESPN+, etc.) networks (domestic and international), edit and deliver to listings outlets (print, online, social media, electronic program guides, etc.). Serve as point to answer partner questions about the schedules as they arise.
• Daily / Weekly Schedule Updates: Work with Programming / Production to deliver any description/matchup/detail/talent updates with timely information for all ESPN networks.
• Manage monthly programming priorities meetings with listings and DMVPD partners.
• Connect with internal production teams to collect show/program descriptions in specific formats for each external partner (Gracenote/Xperi/RedBee)
• Interact with departmental stakeholders (including Affiliate, Production, Product, etc.) to examine any issues with listings delivery via NCS and seek product enhancements to more accurate and streamlined final results.
• Working closely with Linear, ESPN+, VOD, and ESPN3 teams to quality control the ESPN presence on third party MVPD/DMVPD platforms and make adjustments where necessary.
• Facilitate ESPN Linear and Digital Image delivery to our listings and DMVPD partners. Working with Creative Services, Marketing, and Programming.
• Flexibility for weekend/evening/holidays on-call responsibilities per departmental rotation.
• Supporting Director of Digital Media Programming on internal and external relationships i.e. scheduling Esports and Dog Sport Programming, assist in deal negotiations.

Basic Qualifications:
• Proficient computer skills, emphasis on Microsoft Office suite and current social media platforms.
• General knowledge of the sports media industry.
• One year of experience in a professional work setting.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Work experience in the sports media industry, college sports, or cable business.
• Must be highly organized, efficient, self-motivated, exhibit excellent time management skills and be able to work on multiple tasks at the same time.
• Knowledge of NCS system a plus.
