Departmental Summary:

As a group within the ESPN Marketing department, Grande & Leonard is a dynamic in-house marketing engine providing direction, creative and production solutions to internal colleagues in marketing and partners throughout the company.

Position Summary:

The Associate Producer I will support brand campaign executions for most Marketing campaigns across Sports and Brand Properties. This individual will be experienced, knowledgeable, and well-versed in understanding key facets of sports, marketing, social, how to develop a campaign, storyboard, design and execute across various platforms. A creative and strategic thinker, this person will be able to guide, serve and collaborate with key stakeholders across our business, with outside creative agencies, as well as working closely with internal and external production partners. The Associate Producer I will also work closely with creative directors, senior producers, and coordinators to ensure that our procedures are being followed and that content is being executed on schedule and within budget. This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely. This role is open to candidates in Los Angeles, CA, Bristol, CT, and New York, NY.

Responsibilities:
• Writes, edits and produces ESPN promos, sizzles, and recap videos to support ESPN Marketing.
• Collaborates with applicable Sport and Brand teams as well as our Production, Programming and Media teams on assigned projects to ensure that the work is serving these ''clients'' effectively.
• Provides support to Grande & Leonard Creative Directors, Senior Producers and Producers to ensure that all assigned work is creatively superlative, accurate and true to the larger tonality of the Brand.
• Brings fresh, innovative design and production ideas to the department.
• Keeps abreast of the latest promo styles and techniques.
• Attends live action shoots to provide support, guidance, efficiency and enhance creative quality.

Qualifications: (required)
• Minimum 2 years of creative and production experience.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of sports.
• Must possess a strong creative perspective and excellent creative copy writing skills
• Advanced knowledge of editing software, digital media formats and the methods of television production
• Applicable experience with video cameras, lighting, audio or other production equipment
• Basic knowledge of production server environment
• Competent knowledge of the creative aspects of advertising and film/television
• Collaborative, team-oriented and comfortable in a group atmosphere
• Applicable experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop editing and graphics software.
• Strong understanding of the ESPN Brand and the market positioning and strategies of assigned properties.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a highly pressurized environment.
• Willingness and ability to work days, night, weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bilingual English- Spanish

• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Digital Media, Design or a related field
