What You'll Do

As a member of our team, you will be the vision holder and roadmap owner for our cloud infrastructure platform, collaborating with production, development, and operations to drive better developer experience through deep engagement with our developer community, disciplined analysis, and iteration with measurable goals.

In this role, you will
• Define longer-term product direction across cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.
• Own the roadmap for our infrastructure platform to balance internal customer needs with partner organization needs, platform vision, and Epic's long term strategy to allow us to deliver incremental solutions that build toward the long-term vision for the platform.
• Ultimately be responsible for driving a better experience for everyone in the company around infrastructure by helping to provide clearer onboarding, simpler paths to integration with developers CI/CD pipeline, and providing monitoring and logging capabilities
• Partner broadly across our engineering teams to build feedback loops to understand their needs and ensure that our strategy and roadmap aligns to deliver the best possible developer experience.
• Work side-by-side with our infrastructure and platform engineering teams.

What we're looking for
• 5+ years of experience in a mix of cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and product management roles.
• Technical understanding of cloud infrastructure combined with a customer-focused mindset.
• Good technical understanding of some of the following topics: Containers, Container Orchestration (Kubernetes), user access management, Cloud networking, Secret management, Continuous Integration and continuous development (CI/CD) capabilities, Logs and Monitoring services, Security and threat detection capabilities. It will be nice if the candidate has a general knowledge of AWS and its key services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to to work across all aspect of the business to solicit feedback and requirements.
• Ability to work across different disciplines and teams to build a cohesive product vision for our infrastructure platform.
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and using both qualitative and quantitative methods to define a prioritized roadmap.

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren't limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic's generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

California Base Pay Range

$148,000 - $246,700 USD

Washington Base Pay Range

$141,300 - $231,900 USD
