What You'll Do

We're searching for people passionate about enhancing developer productivity through workflow focused solutions. As a member of the Gameplay Framework team you'll be responsible for architecting gameplay systems, APIs, and features within Unreal Engine that allow our licensees to build the next generation of amazing gameplay experiences.

In This Role You Will
• Take ownership of the Gameplay Ability System and rebuild it to simplify user workflows
• Build and maintain bridges with other teams within the Engine group to help drive and maintain vision
• Diagnose and fix memory and performance issues to unlock the full potential of the engine for licensees
• Look for ways to push the technology forward in new and innovative ways

What We're Looking For
• Strong C++ skills and programming principles knowledge
• Talent for building robust, extensible, maintainable systems
• Experience developing AAA games or game engine technology professionally
• Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate fluently in English (written and verbal)
