What You'll Do

Epic Games is looking for a Director, Publishing Operations to drive and refine the operating model and strategy for the Publishing organization. This individual will build strong cross-functional bridges between teams and work with Go-To-Market leaders (Consumer team) across Marketing, Partnerships, Growth and Communications to deliver scalable operational processes, procedures, and communications that facilitate planning and execution of key priorities for the Publishing group.

In this role, you will

Strategy and Planning
• In collaboration with the Consumer leadership team, define and drive the operating strategies and execution plans related to critical publishing initiatives and priorities
• Drive alignment and processes to develop solutions for prioritization of key goals
• Act as an interconnector across the Consumer group to create continuity and cohesion in Epic's publishing strategy with the rest of the company
• Drive decision-making to adapt as our priorities, goals, and competitive landscape evolve
Operational Management
• Be an agent of change who identifies, forms and drives execution of cross-functional projects to optimize organizational performance and meet Publishing goals and objectives
• Oversee and align the publishing team's yearly operating budgets which includes reviewing monthly actuals for tracking versus plan and getting bottom-up input from all regions and disciplines
• Ensure appropriate resources are in place across the publishing organization to deliver against goals and objectives
• Develop, track, and assess key performance measures across cross-functional projects
• Lead a team that creates, iterates and operates a suite of Publishing Programs that are non-native (outside our games) online web-based initiatives that engage players in a variety of different ways within the entire Epic Games ecosystem

Project Management
• Take on highly complex and strategic projects in partnership with Consumer leadership
• Manage, guide and ultimately own recommendations related to project work

What we're looking for
• Someone with 10-15 years of experience in roles of increasing scope and complexity in dynamic, fast-paced consumer industries, preferably media, games and/or entertainment.
• Experience working in companies and teams with complex business models, rapidly shifting priorities and where change is the norm and new business models are emerging.
• A reputation for successfully driving business results in entrepreneurial environments with a high degree of ambiguity and partnering across the enterprise.
• Strong, open-minded, team player whose values are in alignment with Epic's progressive and boundary pushing culture.
