Position Summary:
This role will play a critical role in the consolidation and reporting of Film & Television monthly results, assist in the analysis of historical, current, projected financial information, and play an integral role in other management reporting and analyses.
Responsibilities:
• Monthly consolidation of divisional financial data for review and analysis
• Coordination and consolidation of monthly and quarterly divisional financial statements and reporting packages
• Preparation of monthly variance analysis and reporting packs for various stakeholders
• Preparation of quarterly reporting packs for audit reviews
• Assist in development of new reporting packages and financial presentations for senior leadership
• Prepare and consolidate supporting schedules and analysis required for management reporting
• Correspond with regional finance teams and other corporate departments as needed
• Identify and manage roll out of technical accounting issues as required
• Provide various ad-hoc financial analysis as required
• Accomplish tasks on time and contribute to the team by taking on special projects as needed
Key Competencies:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and pursuing professional designation
• Minimum 3 years working experience in similar roles
• Prior experience in multinational, multicurrency corporations is an asset
• Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Computer literate, including strong working skills of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Tagetik and Longview is an asset
• Knowledge of accepted accounting rules, practices, and reporting requirements
• Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, multi-tasking and execution skills.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
