Job Description
Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team on a 7-month FTC in this newly created role. The role holds a variety of responsibilities within the FP&A and Commercial Planning function of the International Distribution Sales team, supporting the regional FP&A leads to provide robust forecasting and best in class sales support.

Responsibilities:

Sales Planning Support
• Maintain the Film Sales rolling forecast. Work with FP&A and sales to ensure it is accurate and reflects current performance
• Assist the quarterly close process, liaising with sales, legal and operations
• Produce sales and quarterly insights dashboards in Power BI
• Prepare and refresh lifetime sales forecasts
• Partner sales to produce ad hoc deal analysis

Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting
• Produce monthly Film rolling forecast for group submission through:
• Liaising with central FP&A for Film content assumptions
• Working with the finance reporting teams to reconcile actuals
• Adjusting key sales assumptions
• Produce budget and in year formal quarterly Film forecast for group submission including:
• Preparation of slides
• Detailed bridges to explain variances
• Tracking Risk & Opportunities
• Deep dives and analysis

Requirements:

Technical/experience
• Fully qualified, or proven experience within a similar role
• Media/entertainment industry experience is a must
• Experience of working in an FP&A department
• Experience of international, multi-currency business (desirable)
• Strong Excel skills including experience of financial modelling (essential)
• Experience with Power BI (desirable)

• Strong communicator with the ability to maintain good working relationships with staff at all levels of seniority while ensuring colleagues meet their deadlines
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change
