Position Summary:

This incumbent will be responsible for the residuals reporting process. In addition, ad-hoc projects as requested.Key

Responsibilities:
• Ensure all reporting commitments are met
• Ensure positive relations with business partners
• Adhere to controls and procedures to ensure accuracy of reported information
• Assist in preparing and analysis of financial accruals and forecasts within the timed guidelines provided by Manager Residuals
• Provide information to audit Manager within timelines set by Manager Residuals
• Interpret various sources of legal and contractual documents and translate in to mathematical formula to determine Residual liabilities
• Maintain good understanding of Guild contract terms and associated liabilities

Key Competencies:
• 1-2 years residuals/guild reporting experience in Film and/or TV or related financial experience
• Bachelor degree preference in Business, Accounting or Finance
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications: Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups etc)
• Proficiency with Databases
• Detail oriented with strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
• Able to thrive in a fast paced environment under pressure with tight deadlines, simultaneously handling multiple projects
