Job Description
Role Purpose:

Responsibility for financial planning and analysis of global operating expenses across the Film & Television business. The role will work closely with the Reporting team, using actuals to lead the budgeting and forecasting process across the global entities. The role will support the VP, Strategic Planning & Operations in strategic reviews of data, performing analyses that support resource allocation and executive decision making.

In this role, your accountabilities and responsibilities may include:
• Prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecast, with inputs from commercial leads across the business
• Work closely with the Reporting team on variance analysis between quarterly forecast and budgets
• Input monthly actuals into models, investigate variances and make changes to rolling forecast
• Upload into Hasbro Longview system forecasts and budgets, income statement and balance sheet
• Partner with senior level executives as the point of contact on overhead expenses and resource strategic planning
• Evaluate the business' operating results and recommend strategies for improvement, providing complex financial insights
• Project manage initiatives related to the execution of operating expense optimization
• Assist with presentation decks to senior executives as needed

To do this role, you will have…
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Commerce
• 5+ years of financial management experience
• Strong Excel Skills
• Previous experience in FP&A role with multiple stakeholders; previous experience in media a plus
• Ability to deal with large volumes of data and still focus on the big picture
• Highly organized, able to prioritize and cope in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build strong working relationships across divisions and functions
• Demonstrated skill in analysis of complex financial information, drawing conclusions and present findings
• Knowledge of accounting principles and requirements
• Ability to analyze and maintain highly confidential and sensitive data with the utmost discretion
• Experience with financial reporting and forecasting systems; Longview experience a plus
