Summary of Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Group function as an FP&A Manager on a 12-month FTC. You will manage and prepare the head office cost forecasts and budgets, which includes partnering with cost centre managers. You will also work closely with the Hasbro shared service teams on month end entries for head office costs, preparing month end variance analysis, as well as tracking costs against forecast/budget. In addition to this, you will be the expert in our financial consolidation system, preparing and maintaining reports, as well as troubleshooting for key operating units.

Role Responsibilities:
• Be the central business partner for eOne central departments eg HR, Corporate Communications
• Responsible for the annual budget and 4 times a year forecast in conjunction with eOne cost centre managers. Total cost of approx $16m.
• Submit forecast and budgets in line with agreed deadlines.
• Approving Canadian payroll for head office employees and raising month end payroll journals for SSC to post
• Raising and approving purchase requisitions/invoices in SAP for certain cost centres
• Preparing month end journals for accruals, prepayments and contingent consideration for SSC.
• Reviewing actuals for head office entities (4 legal entities) and preparing variance analysis against budget/forecast.
• Run cost centre reporting out of SAP/Longview for cost centre managers on a monthly basis and and respond to any queries to ensure costs remain controlled.
• Follow up on any significant variances with cost centre managers to ensure spend remains in line with overall budget
• Provide information to the SSC for the monthly head office cash forecasts for Treasury
• Expert in loading forecast data into Longview (or a similar financial consolidation system) and ensuring eOne businesses have the right tools to submit the data
• Expert in using 'Analysis & Reporting'' templates in Longview
• Preparing and maintaining eOne Group reports using Longview add-in for actuals and forecasts/budgets so standardization across the businesses
• Ensuring correct entities and access rights in Longview for each planning process
• Providing training to eOne Longview users where required and troubleshooting
• Assist with preparation of monthly eOne management reporting pack including Group financial analysis and bringing to attention areas of concern/opportunity and recommendations for appropriate action plans
• Assist with tracking performance of the Group at quarter and year ends
• Review of amortisation of acquired intangibles and non-op lines on a monthly basis
• Assist with preparation of eOne Group bridge analysis and call around presentation on a quarterly basis
• Assist in managing annual Budget and 4 times a year forecast processes within eOne
• Preparing operating cash model for eOne using the indirect method
• Proactive engagement and partnering with the Divisions throughout the processes
• Posting eOne adjustments for budgets/forecast in Longview and reviewing the consolidation
• Calculating inter-divisional internal investment in content elims for forecast/budget
• Review of amortisation of acquired intangibles and non-op lines for each submission
• Understanding main assumptions, key drivers, trends and risks and opportunities
• Work with Senior FP&A Manager to prepare budget presentations

Technical skills:
• Qualified, with experience in practice and industry
• Experience working within a Head Office FP&A role
• Previous experience of tight turnaround times (time pressured environment) and multi currency multi geography reporting structures
• Good understanding of cost centre reporting and implementing cost centre processes
• Excellent understanding of Group reporting systems including writing reports
• Expert on Excel and PowerPoint
