Role Summary:

The Manager, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is a new and critical role at eOne. The ELT (Executive Leadership Team) at eOne believes it is imperative that DEI principles permeate all that we do and therefore we place deliberate and consistent attention on those principles to evolve our organization. eOne is comprised of dynamic businesses with diverse internal talent, who are passionate and creative. In turn, DEI needs to be imbedded in everything we create, ensuring that eOne not only brings the best content to the world, but also content that is diverse, equitable and inclusive.

We are looking for a DEI Manager with passion, who can work with a soon to be hired Senior Vice President, DEI to execute a bold vision for DEI at eOne. The incumbent will work alongside this DEI leader, the DEI council, DEI network champions and HR leaders to execute a multi-year DEI strategy, including measurable goals, that challenges us to be better and do better. The DEI Manager will gain deep expertise in DEI and bring their deep subject matter expertise to every discussion, bringing internal and external data to the table and partnering with our people and functions. The role will be internally focused on creating education and awareness, day to day processes and practices that drive an inclusive culture and meaningful ways to capture and catalyze action based on the employee voice. The DEI Manager will play a critical role to ensure that there is strong collaboration with the Hasbro DEI group, leveraging every opportunity to work together.

Key responsibilities
• Continually and proactively understand DEI practices across the external market and at Hasbro to bring in applicable practices to the DEI team at eOne
• Analyze all quantitative and qualitative data at eOne and recommend where further input is needed to understand DEI issues and opportunities
• Work with our development and production functions across all our entertainment businesses to ensure they have the resources, knowledge, and support to make decisions that progress our DEI agenda.
• Work with our development and production businesses to create structure and processes to ensure compliance with internal and stakeholder guidelines around DEI
• Organize DEI design strategy sessions with the DEI council and co-facilitate sessions with the DEI council to effectively gain insights and input on DEI strategy
• Oversee the execution of DEI awareness and education across eOne, monitor the effectiveness and make recommendations to the ongoing execution
• Source and partner with external providers to on specific awareness and education initiatives for senior leaders, DEI council, networks, HRBPs and other key groups to ensure that they have sufficient education in DEI to play DEI leadership and facilitation roles as required
• Manage the review of DEI inclusive hiring and people development practices and the roll-out of changes, engaging the DEI council and the HRBPs in the execution and monitoring of those changes
• Manage the coordinated execution of specific organization wide DEI initiatives when needed, e.g., Pathways to Industry DEI Internship Program
• Provide ongoing monitoring and measurement against the DEI Strategy. Continuously make recommendations to improve the efficacy and efficiency of DEI across eOne
• Act as the integrator for all eOne DEI initiatives across the DEI council, networks, and HRBPs ensuring there is full understanding of what is being executed upon and alignment in the initiatives
• Draft DEI presentations and key communication material and plan a cascaded change and communication strategy, with internal communication support as needed
• Work with the DEI communications support on an external communication strategy of eOne DEI initiatives
• Manage all operational components of DEI e.g., Glint surveys, events etc.

Key competencies
• Demonstration of a commitment to ongoing education in DEI through attendance of various programs. DEI Certification preferred, but not necessary.
• Experience working with various business units across the organization
• Proven track record of building strong working relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
• Knowledge of inclusivity practices across organizations
• Solid experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrable ability to partner and influence a range of difference business functions
• Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships

• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
