eOne's Family Brands division is an exciting, fast growing team within the global Hasbro family that specialises in the development, production, distribution and brand management of kid's entertainment. Key properties in the brand portfolio include international pre-school TV phenomenon Peppa Pig; superhero hit PJ Masks; newly launched pre-school series Ricky Zoom; fashion brands My Little Pony, Equestria Girls and Jem; as well as action adventure brands Transformers and Power Rangers.

Role Purpose…
The Creative Services team within the Family Brands Division at Entertainment One, is looking for a mid-level designer, to produce strong global brand creative for a selection of our pre-school and fashion brands. Reporting the Art Director you will have strong experience within the entertainment industry and can demonstrate proven experience of creating strong concepts, designs and visuals to across a selection of our pre-school properties. You will be able to produce high end graphics, quickly and efficiently, that will help to set the creative direction of each entertainment property, covering all brand and marketing needs, as well as factoring in needs for the wider business, such as Consumer Products, Packaging, Merchandising and more.

You will be an extremely confident and technically sound visualiser, who is equally as good when sketching ideas as you are creating concepts digitally. As an excellent communicator you will also be confident taking these ideas and presenting to key stakeholders, helping to sell the idea(s).

You will be joining a relatively small team of designers so we require a proactive, driven and problem-solving attitude, and someone who will thrive on collaborating with different teams within the business, using their technical ability to visualise, design and create at all times.

Above all someone who loves working on kids brands within the entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create high level concepts and designs to support the global creative direction across each of our pre-school brands.
• Use the full Adobe CC Suite (illustrator, photoshop, indesign) and visualise the ideas and moodboards provided by the Director, by creating concepts and layouts that help to visualise their direction on each project.
• Visualise the concepts through either sketches or digital mock-ups to help sell each piece of creative to the brand team and external stakeholders.
• Assist with development of strong concepts and mood boards, as part of the initial interpretation of the brief.
• Design a suite of new brand graphic elements each year, inc icons, graphics, patterns, elements etc.
• Retouch existing assets to use on final projects or to demonstrate a concept.
• Create both online and offline page/screen templates that can used on both trade and consumer facing material.
• Collaborate with the motion graphic designers in the team, to provide them with the graphics needed in their video projects.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team and the wider teams to create ideas and concepts that will help the brand.
• Be across the competitor landscape to ensure the brand creative, has an extremely strong presence within the entertainment industry, tapping into global and regional design trends when relevant.
• Present your work, in a clear and impactful way to the team and key stakeholders throughout the business.
• Help to drive the creative direction of the brand(s) throughout the business, ensuring that it reaches all relevant touchpoints.
• Have in depth knowledge of all episodic content and be abreast of new content in the pipeline.
• Take it on as your responsibility to drive the creative direction of the brand(s).
• Be a creative brand champion, with thorough comprehensive knowledge of the brand, understanding how the entertainment content can best be translated across all touch points.

Key Competencies:
• Strong proven experience within the pre-school entertainment industry.
• Strong technical design skills across the full Adobe CC suite.
• Proven experience as mid-level designer/creative, either in-house or within an agency.
• Ability to visualise ideas, whether through sketch or digitally.
• Strong knowledge of the print and digital processes and understanding how concepts, will look both offline and online.
• Passion for the children's entertainment industry, with a full understanding of how creative assets will be used across all touch points where the brand has visibility.
• Great organisational qualities, with the ability to multi-task and react to the high volume and demands of the role.
• Strong communication skills, that will help take key stakeholders through the creative 'journey' as the brand develops, and new concepts are produced.
• Can demonstrate examples, where you have pushed the creative boundaries of brands, understanding the commercial landscape, whilst maintaining the core values of the brand.
