Role Summary:
Entertainment One is a growing global organisation with a fast-paced IT environment that uses emerging technologies. Reporting to the Support Services Manager, the Support Services Analyst will provide hands-on 1st and 2nd line IT Support to all members of the staff in the UK office and assist with local and global projects. The role will be the first point of contact for all IT support matters, so it is essential the candidate is customer focused with a desire to help members of staff and has a keen interest in IT.
Key responsibilities:
• Working within the Support Services team and using the company's helpdesk system, ServiceNow, provide 1st / 2nd line IT support for UK based users (300+) and as needed for users based in other territories.
Manage own IT requests/issues tickets on ServiceNow and ensure successful resolution or escalate where necessary.
• Help configure and roll out new or replacement hardware such as Laptops, Macs and Mobile Devices.
• Setup new starter network/emails accounts and hardware in accordance with tasks generated on ServiceNow.
• Install and upgrade desktop software such as Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Adobe CC products.
• Help move, setup and tidy hardware ranging from user desks moves, installing switches and tidying cabling.
• Anticipating potential problems and ensuring that they are fixed before they become an issue.
• Create & maintain internal support documentation.
• Assist with local and global projects/initiatives.
Key Competencies:
• IT graduate with proven IT Support experience in the workplace.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• The ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment.
• A self-starter and motivated to completion tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
• A good knowledge of;
o Microsoft Windows 10
o PC/Laptop hardware set-up and configuration.
o MacOS
o iMac/MacBook setup and configuration.
o
Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
o Microsoft Office 365 including Teams and OneDrive
• Experience with or an understanding of;
o Active Directory and Office 365 Administration
• Familiarity with common IT peripherals i.e. Printers, Mobile Phones, iPads.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, DHCP, DNS)
• Experience with or an understanding of the following desirable;
o Supporting AV Crestron solutions
o ServiceNow
o Jamf administration
o SCCM
