We own and operate 39 all-sports stations across the US as well as the CBS Sports Radio network and reach nearly 30 million sports fans monthly. Entercom has also positioned itself aggressively to serve the rapidly expanding sports betting audience with the acquisition of the QL Gaming Group and the integration of best in class data and analytics into its broadcast and digital content.

The VP, Sports will work with central and market level content leadership to manage sports content integration and partnerships. They will collaborate with digital leadership on the development of new sports content and features and foster communication and collaboration across all sports stakeholders inside of Entercom. They will be responsible for managing and growing two daily broadcast and digital sports betting programs and managing BetQL and sports book content integration across our broadcast, podcast and on demand audio portfolio. The ideal candidate has experience managing both traditional linear broadcast content and ideating concepts for new platforms and is adept at leading through change and innovation.

This role is for a hands-on leader and self-starter who is relentless in his/her quest to find new ways and platforms to connect with sports fans. This role will require strong business acumen and the ability to drive results leading market based teams across the country and in our corporate offices in Philadelphia and New York.

Responsibilities:
• Grow Entercom's sports audience through long-form linear broadcast and podcast and on demand audio content development
• Establish systems and processes to share and distribute sports content across Entercom's portfolio of assets
• Manage market level integration of national sports initiatives with flawless execution
• Ideate and manage organic integration of sports betting content into our local sports radio brands
• Collaborate with QL Gaming Group and digital editorial team on multi-platform concepts to reach sports betting fans
• Work with research and analytics departments to craft stories supporting Entercom's sports content integration and audience growth mission
• Partner with revenue leadership on development of programs, features and sponsorship opportunities

Qualifications:
• 5-10 years in sports content leadership position
• 5+ years experience digital content and strategy preferably within sports media –or- strong knowledge of digital content development, strategy and planning
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of digital media including mobile, digital audio & gaming
• Thorough understanding of local and national sports media landscape
• Passion for sports betting content and analytics
• Experience motivating and managing diverse teams at multiple sites
• Capable of presenting ideas to both senior leaders and rank and file
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
