Job Description
Endeavor is seeking a motivated Vice President & Counsel to join the company's in-house litigation team. The role will be based in Beverly Hills and supervised by Endeavor's Co-Heads of Litigation and divisional General Counsels. The ideal candidate must have strong litigation experience at both a law firm and in-house, familiarity with a wide scope of legal issues including experience in entertainment, and experience with internal investigations. The candidate must have the ability to communicate complex legal advice in a concise manner to laypersons, interact with and support various business units across the company, manage a large legal docket, and oversee outside counsel. Responsibilities:
• Providing legal advice and analysis of complex legal and business issues across a range of business units around the world
• Providing litigation support, including directing litigation strategy and managing outside counsel
• Reviewing and advising on dispute resolution and other contractual terms on a wide range of complex commercial contracts
• Negotiating complex legal settlements
• Overseeing junior litigator(s) assisting with subpoenas, discovery, and document review
• Handling internal investigations
• Communicating lessons learned to business leaders and other attorneys across Endeavor
Qualifications (Required):
• At least 5-7 years of experience litigating at a reputable law firm
• JD
• Member of the California or New York Bar
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and thorough
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a team-based environment
• Professionalism and ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
• Positive attitude, including willingness to work during non-business hours
• Willing to travel
