Job Description
We are looking for a Strategy Analyst to join our growing team! The Strategy Analyst will work closely alongside the team's senior executives that are focused on IMG Media's consulting and advisory work, as well as support media deal processes for current and future clients. This role will feature hands-on exposure to all elements of deal negotiation, valuation, scenario modeling and client strategy across the division's advisory business.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Support IMG Media leadership team on client deal negotiation, strategy development, and media rights valuations.
• Work within the strategy function preparing financial models and developing businesses plans for clients and internal division projects.
• Work with Strategy Associate in executing advisory/consulting project work.
• Collaborate with team executives in responding to client RFPs and supporting business development processes.
• Lead industry research, analysis, and due diligence efforts to support client development and expand new business verticals
• Serve as primary liaison between IMG Media and Endeavor Analytics – our in-house analytics division.
• Create and share relevant knowledge building documents with broader Endeavor leadership and clientele.
• Help build, shape, and design internal and client reports, briefs, and presentations.
• Other duties that are within the scope of the role may be required.
Knowledge and Experience
• Bachelor or master's degree, pre or post MBA
• Experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or corporate strategy/business development role is preferred
• Experience within a client facing role preferred
Skills and Abilities
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish is required, Portuguese is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution
• Proactive, self-starter who can work independently within set objectives
• Knowledge of Sports, Entertainment, Media, and Technology industries preferred
• Strong financial and business modelling skills
• Strong proficiency in in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to establish trust-based relationships with clients to better serve their organizations
• Knowledge of finance, valuation, and accounting
• The ability to gather and synthesize information/data into clear hypothesis or recommendations
• A passion for the sports & entertainment industry combined with a solid understanding of the sports rights market
Working Conditions
• This is a permanent position.
• This role will be based at in our office in New York with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate
• Working hours are 9:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday
• May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other Company buildings and meetings
• Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule
• Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate
Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position, based on various factors, including budget and industry data. Hiring Range Minimum:
$86,250 annually
Hiring Range Maximum:
$126,500 annually
