Strategic Operations Director, Business Strategy & Development

Job Description

The Strategic Operations Director will be responsible for supporting the EVP and SVP of the Business Strategy & Development division of Endeavor. The role will support the strategic and creative business development efforts across multiple Endeavor-owned businesses.

The Strategic Operations Director will manage a variety of projects and initiatives across the company, working with cross-divisional teams and stakeholders throughout the Endeavor network, designing and implementing processes, project managing and executing on company-wide initiatives that support business growth. The ideal candidate is organized and experienced at working across disciplines. She/he can motivate teams, operationalize projects, resource plan, structure narratives and ultimately help support some of the most exciting projects across sports and entertainment.

Responsibilities:
• Set strategic and tactical approaches for a variety of company-wide projects and opportunities;
• Lead the content creation of client based initiatives from start to finish, distilling strategy relayed by the EVP and SVP into cohesive and meaningful presentations;
• Manage a cross-functional team, overseeing deadlines, project deliverables and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across divisions;
• Maintain relationships with clients and key internal stakeholders;
• Collaborate with appropriate Endeavor divisions (such as sales, account management, division business teams) and establish portfolio priorities to ensure quality and on-time delivery of all project assets;
• Work collaboratively across divisions (creative services; research and insights; corporate communications; etc.) to help ensure creative materials, pitch decks, and
other information is integrated and, where necessary, designed appropriately;
• Manage communications and build bridges across Endeavor businesses, demonstrating a strong knowledge of the different facets of the Endeavor ecosystem

Qualifications
• Proven track record of successfully working with a broad spectrum of people – junior to senior level execs and clients
• Cross-functional expertise (Entertainment, cultural, experiential, social and digital landscapes)
• Unique ability and approach to structuring and shaping narratives in presentations and materials Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to communicate such thoughts proactively, efficiently and effectively
• Ability to spot challenges before they appear and proactively provide solutions to minimize project risk
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of client-service deliverables without sacrificing quality
• Proven track record of using project management to improve business operations
• Must be proficient in PPTX, Keynote and a savvy copywriter
