The primary responsibility of this role is to operate as a key contributor of the human resources team to provide HR oversight and support to our Music Experiences Division. This individual will work closely with employees and management and will be the go-to person for all employee-related issues in these locations. This role will be responsible for daily HR functions such as recruiting, new hire onboarding, employee relations, training and development, compliance, and performance management. This position will work as a member of the global HR department to develop initiatives around the overall culture of On Location Experiences and alignment of operational objective with HR team priorities.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
• Provide support that allows the company to attract, develop and retain great personnel
• Assure all employee data and information is kept confidential
• Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees on Human Resources policies and procedures
• Work closely with the recruiting team on recruiting initiatives
• Participate in candidate interviews, evaluation, and selection processes
• Build new and upkeep existing job descriptions for all roles
• Plan and execute the onboarding and orientation of new hires within the designated office locations
• Manage employee relations and address employee concerns
• Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring, and assessment of Human Resource policies and procedures
• Work with the Director of Human Resources to develop and deliver training programs that will meet the overall organizational needs
• Manage company morale initiatives and budgets within designated office locations
• Promote HR and cultural programs and initiatives to drive enhanced employee satisfaction
• Manage the performance management process to include annual reviews, goal setting and performance improvement plans
• Assist with the communication and administration of employee benefit plans
• Conduct all off-boarding functions, to include exit interviews for designated office locations
• Maintain employee files for designated office locations
• Partner with the HR Operations team to ensure that data transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist in the development and review of key HR metrics
• Escalate any employee concerns appropriately to the Director of Human Resources
• Work closely with the HR team to develop annual goals and objectives for the department
• Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist
• Broad knowledge of HR functions
• Exceptional interpersonal skills – a collaborative style and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of federal and state specific employment laws and regulations (to include California and New York)
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external vendors to maximize performance, creativity and problem solving
• Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
• Ability to adhere to, communicate and enforce all company policies and procedures
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, use discretion and uphold high ethical standards
• Ability to work in an ever-changing environment with a work style focused on solving problems and driving results
• Strong attention to detail and process adherence
• HRIS system experience (Workday preferred) and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Relevant Experience
• Experience in employee relations, recruiting, employee benefits, performance management, and training and development preferred
• SHRM-CP Certification preferred
• Experience with Workday HRIS system preferred

Travel
Some travel expected; must be flexible with work and travel schedule.
