Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Designer who is passionate about culture, design, and leadership to bring concepts and ideas to life through visual design. They will bring new design thinking to the table across a multitude of projects and clients.

The Senior Designer is a vital member of the creative team who sits within 160over90's NYC design team. The right person for this role will be skilled in visual design & design concepting, they will be inspired by the world around them, and they will work well within a collaborative environment which encourages ideas and contributions from all team members.

To be successful in this role, they should have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles, and layout techniques. They should also have experience executing projects from conception to production & implementation, including, but not limited to: graphic design, light retouching/photo manipulation, motion graphics, social media posts, production for both digital and print assets, branded collateral, web banners, presentation designs, and original content.

This person will be creative, highly organized, and able to work efficiently on multiple projects across a variety of industries and brands. They offer creative solutions to creative and visual problems and can work across all types of programs – from the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign) to Keynote and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
• Be the on-the-ground leader for design/creative leadership in the concepting and execution of projects.
• Design original pieces of work across multiple mediums and client industries that fulfills all briefs.
• Review junior staff's work when needed in order to help advance their growth.
• Refine images, aesthetics, and layouts to complete deliverables at the highest standards.
• Concept and implement design ideas that solves creative problems outlined in briefs.
• Maintain brand consistencies throughout all deliverables on each brief.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology.
• Hands-on experience with print, digital, and animation projects.
• Build interpersonal connections with both day-to-day team and other agency colleagues for seamless and productive flow of work.
• Be able to perform under tight deadlines with quick turnaround times if needed.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a desire to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive with relentless hustle and desire to exceed aggressive goals.
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once, multitask and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Great time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Deep understanding and ongoing curiosity of cultural & design trends.
• Strong background in art/design, advertising, or related field.
• Excellent design, typography, motion and layout skills.
