Purpose of the position:

Responsible for providing creative and design services for IMG FOCUS. produced events and shows globally.

FOCUS., IMG Fashion's creative and production services agency, is seeking a Senior Designer that will support the FOCUS. team in the creative development, design, communication and execution of unique, innovative and visually stunning ideas for our global client base. The right candidate for this role will be skilled in visual and experiential design and art direction, and will have deep experience and interest in the fields of fashion, art, experiental, live communication, digital and retail, and will fit seamlessly within a collaborative work environment that encourages ideas and contributions from all team members. The Senior Designer will be a key member of our team, helping to design events, shows, experiential activations and developing concepts.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for creative development, including conception and design for fashion events, shows and experiential activations produced by FOCUS.
• Responsible for creative conception and design of IMG-owned fashion events.
• Lead day-to-day creative for FOCUS. clients and projects, scope including:
• Development of mood boards, creative concepts and briefs, client decks or proposals, floorplans, design studies, visual renderings
• Development of set/scenic design for fashion shows, presentations, experiential activations
• Contribute to scenic vendor briefs to ensure fabrication scope is in line with concept and budget
• Design and compile event concept decks for FOCUS. clients
• Contribute to the development of look and feel/style guidelines for IMG-owned fashion events
• Participating in client RFPs for FOCUS., including pitch decks
• Prioritize and schedule creative project needs, ensuring all deadlines and goals are met
• Identify design and scenic resources needed for projects and events including staffing
• Design/Development of 3D renderings is a plus
• Ensure design and branding best practice for all events and shows
• Develop solutions to improve design processes
• Manage and attend individual meetings with clients, vendors, venues and other stakeholders connected to each FOCUS. project
• Conduct regular research about design trends, best practices, methods, as it relates to the FOCUS. core business, and generally to global fashion show and event production
• Provide a broad spectrum approach to experiential design for both the physical and virtual/digital executions for FOCUS. projects
• Maintain and extend the existing network of global freelancers and vendors working for FOCUS. in the areas of set/scenic design, light design, creative direction, visual artists
• Travel to other IMG-owned and produced events within the USA and globally, and/or FOCUS. projects as required

Skills & Qualifications:
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, excellent time management, written and oral communication, presentation skills, and professional demeanor
• Strong understanding of production execution in addition to conceptual and physical design
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, but also within a larger division construct
• Ability to manage multiple project leads and stakeholders in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Exceptional ability to execute high-quality, on-time deliverables
• High proficiency with Design Software Adobe Suite, AUTO CAD/Vector Works, Keynote, Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace.
• Strong interest in fashion, live events and experiental space, understanding of key cultural events and emerging trends in the industry
• Bachelor's degree and/or portfolio program degree
• 5+ years of experience as an Art Director/Experiential Designer or equivalent
