Job Description
This position requires a dynamic, competitive, hard working sales professional with a successful track record (preferred) in collegiate or professional sports. This position represents one of the key functions responsible for helping the organization meet its financial goals while delivering the highest levels of customer service to clients/partners.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
• Create and manage effective business relationships with various organizations and consumers, domestically and internationally.
• Responsible for selling ticket/hospitality packages for all designated events.
• Sales presentations will be made by phone, video conferencing and/or face to face meetings.
• Sales will be driven through pro-active prospecting activities including, but not limited to, outbound phone calls, emails, sales-related events and meetings.
• The candidate will be required to achieve personal departmental sales quotas on a monthly/yearly level
Travel
• Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work during holidays. This position may require up to 25% travel.
Required Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• 1-2 years of sales experience preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills – a collaborative style and ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong oral, written and presentation skills
