Key Account Manager, Music Experiences

Job Description

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships with assigned On Location music festival accounts. The Key Account Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to determine all program details and develop opportunities for growth of assigned partner accounts. In addition, this role will as serve as Project Manager for the execution of select event(s) and project(s) within the On Location portfolio. The ideal candidate for this position is an excellent relationship manager who thinks big and has a passion for events and fan experiences. This position is full-time, has non-traditional hours, and requires extensive travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

Account Management
• Driving strategic growth for On Location by generating new business and managing key accounts, aiming for increased value, year over year
• Cultivating and managing business relationships always maintain exceptional relationships and staying up to date on partner needs
• Maintaining a current contact database and track all correspondence in the company's proprietary CRM
• Clearly and efficiently distributing program information regarding all prospective and confirmed business
• Responding to correspondence in a professional and timely manner
• Executing project ideation, proposal creation, and budget creation
• Developing creative and innovative fan experience solutions designed to keep our offerings on the cutting edge
• Working across internal departments, such as operations, finance, and marketing, to stay in lock step with the status of each program operating under the key accounts
• Being on-site for key account events
• Performing all tasks with a high level of service, professionalism, and confidentiality

Project Management
• Act as Project Manager for select event(s) and project(s) as assigned by leadership
• Develop and enhance assigned projects to achieve the most impactful results for On Location and our partners
• Deliver the highest possible level of service to our guests and partners across all that we do
• Manage accurate budget and financial forecast(s) throughout the full lifecycle assigned project(s)
• Oversee payment(s) for vendor(s) and staff in line with internal financial processes and procedures
• Manage and maintain accurate project income and expenses including filing of all project related receipts
• Operate within On Location Project Manager guidelines and continually communicate suggestions to better streamline operations to leadership
• Effectively lead project team(s) for assigned project(s) to efficiently and effectively deliver intended project results that are always in line with On Location's standard of excellence
• Oversee project specific staffing for assigned events including partnering internally on staffing needs and budgeting, coordinating team trainings prior to project execution, overseeing on-site project execution, and closing out project staffing in line with On Location processes and procedures

Desired Qualifications
• 5+ years of relevant music industry and/or live events experience
• Experience with budget creation, contract negotiation, and relationship management
• Passion for sales and business development
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly and organized team-player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to function efficiently with tight deadlines in a high-paced, dynamic environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or within a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Flexibility to travel on short notice
• Valid Passport
