Endeavor Content (EC) is a division of Endeavor, a global entertainment, sports and content company.

EC is looking for a Director Financial Planning & Analysis to join its Finance team, reporting to the VP Finance. The position will spearhead oversight of multiple financial functions, including but not limited to the development of pro-forma greenlight models, updating and maintaining ultimate models, by title budgeting/forecasting and actuals tracking, management reporting and month-end close support.

Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze talent, distribution, and equity deals to create content pro-forma models to facilitate greenlight decisions
• Collaborate with creative, business affairs and physical production executives to track, monitor and update content ultimate models to provide real-time financial performance indicators and profitability metrics
• Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to monitor and reconcile by title actual results against forecast/plan to ensure accurate reporting for monthly and quarterly financial closes. Research anomalies to determine appropriate disposition.
• Develop dynamic models for valuation of content acquisitions and investment strategies
• Assist with the preparation and submission of the annual budget, 3-year strategic plan and quarterly reforecasts including amortization patterns and third-party producer/participant share reporting
• Collaborate with Participation team to ensure accurate talent calculations and reporting; identify and resolve discrepancies
• Ability to understand and interpret complex development, production and co-financing agreements to facilitate strategic deal discussions and back-end modeling
• Liaison with Accounting group and internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with internal controls and stated policies and procedures.
• Identify risks & opportunities to enable business decisions and communicate strategies to achieve stated targets
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and delivery of all regular and ad-hoc management requests

Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Finance, Business or Economics. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• Strong understanding of Accounting principles, specifically ASC 606
• 5+ years relevant financial forecasting and modeling experience in the Entertainment / Media industry required
• Ability to lead projects independently from start to finish, working with internal and external teams to make decisions and maintain momentum
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and manage toward evolving deadlines
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and high level of comfort working with all levels of management
• Attention to detail and results oriented

• Advanced Excel modeling skills required
• Working knowledge of SAP general ledger (ECC) and budgeting/planning (BPC) systems preferred
