THE ROLE

The Director, Business Operations will play a key role in tackling strategic planning and execution in support of the management team with a broad mandate to drive change and transformation across the business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strategic Execution: engage on key enterprise strategic initiatives or business-line-specific priorities to drive business growth, including tracking of business performance and initiatives against strategic objectives by providing project management support.
• Engage + Design: solution specific strategic or performance related issues using data-driven analysis and deep engagement with the business; may include driving solution implementation and supporting business adoption / change management efforts.
• Business Analytics: analyzing internal data (e.g., sales channel, product) to identify trends / opportunities and inform strategic direction.
• Examples of projects this individual could lead:
• Event or category specific post-mortem and solutioning
• Event or category strategy or on-sale refreshes
• Product level assessments and refreshes
• Business process re-design

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• 2-4 years' experience with at least 2 years in related role
• Analytical degree (finance, economics, engineering, business school) preferred
• Passion for sports, media, entertainment preferred
• Distinctive problem-solving skills (conceptual, analytical, quantitative)

Travel

Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays.
