Senior Director, Business Development & Partnerships

Job Description

IMG Fashion Events & Properties is seeking an experienced Senior Director to join its Sales, Marketing & Activations team (Brand Partnerships), to execute integrated marketing programs for our Presenting Partner(s) across New York Fashion Week and other major fashion events globally, in addition to seeking additional revenue growth opportunities from current or new brand partners. The ideal candidate is an avid cultural contributor, a seasoned all-rounder, and an organized, self-motivated marketing professional dedicated to achieving world-class results and providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day client relationships throughout the development and execution of 360 marketing programs that integrate brand partners within IMG Fashion Events & Properties - across digital, social media, content, talent, collaborations, and live activations/events
• Build additional opportunities for current or potential partners that drive more revenue growth to IMG Fashion bottom line through marketing and activation initiatives.
• End to end project management - responsible for establishing process with client, planning, tracking costs and delivery, to ensure that all project needs are met on time and within budget
• Manage relationships with influencers, talent, designer partners and third-party vendors to ensure projects are executed to a high standard, including contract negotiations and deliverable oversight
• Supporting on site at events where applicable and managing the client experience on site – may require travel as necessary for the program and event location
• Lead internal and external client status calls, inspiring the confidence of clients through presence, agile thinking, problem solving ability and attention to detail
• Collaborate across the business with designer relations, digital, production and talent divisions to recognize opportunities to leverage the Endeavor eco-system when developing innovative ideas and marketing programs for clients
• Manage project budgets and communicate necessary updates both internally and externally
• Compile quality materials for weekly departmental reports, activation decks, case studies, post event recap reports
• Contribute to ongoing strategy and client retention, supporting sales and marketing colleagues as needed with ideation, proposal development and budget projections
• Monitor industry and partner specific insights and communicate data points and learnings to clients to enhance future marketing offerings and programs
• Take on other project-specific responsibilities as directed by your supervisors including, but not limited to, special event concepting, programming and execution

Requirements
• Minimum 8+ years of marketing or activation experience in a related field
• Experience working within an experiential marketing or activation agency environment preferred
• Significant experience working with clients and building relationships, ideally in an account management role
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong interpersonal skills –works well in a collaborative team environment
• Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills – candidate must be proactive, with a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment,
• High level problem solving – able to make timely decisions that support the mutual interests of clients and the business
• Understanding of the fundamentals of event production, including budgeting process
• Genuine passion for brand marketing – with interests in digital, social media, talent, live activations
• Demonstrated knowledge of luxury fashion
• Proficiency in InDesign, MS Office Suite
• Experience with research and analytics tools advantageous
