VAT Assistant - Maternity Contract

What an VAT Assistant does at EA:
• Preparation of VAT returns, Intrastat and EC Sales declarations
• VAT reconciliations
• Maintenance of process documentation for all VAT returns, Intrastat and EC Sales declarations
• Assistance with monitoring world-wide legal developments in respect of VAT and similar taxes
• Provision of support for ad hoc tasks/projects for all members of the VAT team

The next great EA VAT Assistant requires:
• A background in Finance/Accounting
• Solid excel skills and aptitude for technology
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• VAT knowledge would be an advantage but is not essential
• Fluency in English, any other languages would also be beneficial
• Team player
• Experience of Oracle accounting system would be advantageous
