UX Designer - User Generated Content Tools

As a UX Designer, reporting to the Experience Design Director, you will partner with a team of designers and engineers to bring creation abilities to a wide range of players. This role requires an understanding of both the gameplay and UI/UX needs of our players.

Responsibilities
• You will design accessible creation tools that allow players to create new gameplay experiences, capture key moments in time, and share that content with others.
• You will define and prototype spatial interaction patterns with a focus on usability and managing a broad library of creation building blocks.
• You will build relationships with our cross disciplinary team, and partner groups to set priorities towards meaningful design solutions to meet player and business goals within technical constraints.
• You will distill user research, competitive analysis and feedback into user centered design goals.
• You will apply a set of design standards, documentation, and principles as part of our design system
• You will help our teams empathize with players and advocate for usability and accessibility

Qualifications

• You have experience as an interaction designer, UX designer, experience designer, game designer or product designer on a broad range of platforms/devices. .
• You have experience designing intuitive consumer-facing content creation tools
• You have visual and/or code-based scripting experience in a design role.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A strong desire to create, and a passion for enabling as many others as possible to share in the act of creation.
• Passion for fostering an inclusive and diverse, 'team-first' culture based on fun
• Passion for games with a solid grasp of market trends
