EA is looking for an experienced HR professional to join our People Practices team based in Vancouver. This role will report to the Director, People Practices in the region.
Our People Practices Partners are passionate about delivering simple and awesome people experiences while delivering programs and support in meaningful and efficient ways. In this role, you will lead a team of People Practice Partners and connect with employees, support people managers, promote team effectiveness and engagement, plan and deliver people programs, and be a cultural steward for EA.

What the Senior Manager, People Practices does at EA:
• Coaching: You will partner closely with employees and managers as a trusted advisor on business issues that have people impacts to provide candid, unbiased coaching and counsel to enhance manager effectiveness and improve personal and team capabilities.
• Collaboration: You will build effective relationships and collaborate with internal partners including business leaders and People Experience and COE partners to provide simple and effective programs and people practices for the business/region; develop creative and enhanced solutions for complex challenges; proactively share business needs with COEs and other partners and influence business leaders to adopt consistent scalable solutions.
• Talent Readiness: You will drive talent programs including talent planning, performance management, career and development in partnership with respective COE partners and People Experience business partners to attract, retain, and develop our best talent.
• Insights & Analytics: You will proactively identify opportunities to use HR technology and business intelligence to provide data-driven insights that promote sound business outcomes. You will educate management on workforce analysis, headcount planning and related People Experience metrics to assess and influence / guide decisions; Share insights and institutes best practices across the region.
• Business Acumen: You will aim to understand client and market business models/cycles, priorities and cultural nuances as an input into operational strategy and execution; Identify and share ongoing talent insights to achieve our business goals.
• Program & Project Leadership: You will manage talent initiatives and programs across multiple client groups and regions including engagement, talent management and performance review and compensation programs; develop creative and enhanced solutions for complex needs.
• Change Management: You will design and manage complex change plans across client groups and supports our organization's ability to change by developing our capacity and readiness for change through coaching management on planning and communications and ensuring change acceptance.
• Rewards Management: You will facilitate creative approaches to employee recognition and total rewards that attract and retain diverse talent and reflect EA's philosophy and growth plans; Support the successful implementation of performance and compensation life-cycle across all assigned client group(s)/regions.
• Cultural Advocacy: You will lead work with managers, employees and COEs to develop overall capability to foster a healthy, cohesive, collaborative, fun and equitable workplace.
• People Management: You will hire, coach, develop and reward a team of People Practice Partners in Canada. You will provide informal leadership to other team members through matrixed relationships.

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field combined with 10+ years progressive experience as an HR partner
• An inquisitive mindset with experience using data analytics and data-driven insights to support the business
• Experience as a business partner, who is equally a builder of HR solutions based on HR best practices and an astute business member who employs solutions that affect our business performance
• Subject matter expertise, with demonstrated experience in coaching, change management, and overall talent management and development
• Strong change management skills - you are comfortable with ambiguity and change, you are able to strategize on complex problems, prioritize and achieve commitments
• Outstanding program and project leadership and delivery experience with region-wide, high impact talent programs across the business
• Knowledge of local employment law combined with the ability to apply a high-level understanding of regional employment customs and practices
• Passion for creating healthy organizations, driving transformation and helping culture be a competitive advantage
• Demonstrated success in hiring, coaching, developing, and rewarding teams
