Development Technology and Services (DTS) powers EA studios to create even greater player experiences. We help shape the future from the way games are created, to how they are played and viewed.

We are a global team and also the largest studio within EA! DTS proudly consists of the following teams: Engineering Services (ES), Studios Data Insights, and Quality, Verification, and Standards.

The Challenge Ahead:

We are looking for a Sr UX Research Manager, to cultivate an inspired Research function across EA's DICE Stockholm and Guildford Studios, with an opportunity to influence important decisions on a portfolio of products that includes well-known franchises such as Battlefield, Need for Speed and many others. You will report to the Sr. Director of UX Research and will partner with Senior Studio, Research and Marketing Leaders to provide the insights necessary to create the best player experiences. You will engage with business leaders across the organization to provide insights in the field of research and translating long-term strategy into operational goals. You'll need a Research background in the area of gaming, entertainment or consumer products where high-quality experiences are main considerations.

• You'll mentor your Team, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
• You build and evolve your Team; identify resourcing needs, provide challenges and developmental opportunities to ensure that all Team members reach their potential.
• You build working relationships with your immediate Team and those outside that have an impact on the Global success of the UXR Team.
• You'll participate in the hiring process to ensure future Team members meet project requirements.
• You believe in collaboration and guide your Team towards outcomes that benefit the business and the team.
• You Lead your Team to meet our expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.

What You'll Do:
• You will work with Studio Leadership to understand franchise goals and strategies to develop long-term User Research plans and schedules for EA's titles.
• You will build relationships at all levels of the organization including senior and executive level management.
• You will partner across organizational and Global teams with a variety of disciplines (analysts, designers, product owners, market researchers, producers) to create insights which affect the trajectory of their product work.
• You will nurture the insights organization by contributing to the development of team-wide research processes, working with people managers to grow skillsets and capabilities on the global research team.
• You will provide direction to team members and peers by developing strategies, collaborating, expressing ideas and viewpoints.
• You will communicate research results to multiple levels of the organization in creative ways that promote impact.

Requirements:
• Multiple years (5+) industry experience managing a Team.
• Education requirement, University degree Bachelors or equivalent professional experience.
• Collaborative, team-minded person who drives towards better outcomes for the business and the team.
• Project management skills in an evolving environment.
• Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of processes to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output.
