Senior Manager, Crisis Communications

Job Description

Our Global Communications team is seeking a corporate communications professional with experience in crisis communications, and issues and reputation management. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, the Senior Manager of Crisis Communications will have a strong media relations background and drive and execute strategies to proactively and reactively manage EA's corporate reputation.

Responsibilities:
• Global lead for reputational risk management and crisis response.
• Identify and anticipate risks to EA's global reputation and brand, lead scenario planning for internal and external situations, and provide senior council on strategy.
• Develop and drive internal and external communications for EA's executive leadership team.
• Develop and leverage media relationships to surface opportunities to tell EA's corporate stories.
• Engage with media including pitching news and meeting with reporters on background to develop relationships and keep EA top of mind.

Qualifications
• You have at least 10 years of experience working in, and effectively managing, crisis and financial communications for a public company.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• You bring proven experience moving fast, being entrepreneurial, and getting results, and working in both proactive and reactive corporate communications.
• You are an avid consumer of news, and able to determine EA's POV on societal issues that align with the company's purpose and values.
• You are experienced working in relationship-based global organizations, and partnering with leaders and experts at all levels.
• You have close media contacts at top tier business publications and online outlets.
• You have experience managing agency teams.
• You have a passion for gaming.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field is preferred.
