Description

Reporting to the SVP of EADP, the Sr. Director of Operations role is a senior leadership position that leads overall organizational operations, corporate governance processes, and budget functions. We are looking for active participation with EA-wide programs, requirements gathering, and deliverables tracking. The Sr. Director will advise on other areas and should develop a point of view on leadership team topics.

Responsibilities
Organizational operations
• Develop necessary synchronous (e.g., town halls) and asynchronous (e.g., team updates) communications
• Operationalize change management projects across EADP, including planning, communication and evaluation of the change effort
• Create the agenda and planning for important leadership meetings and offsite events
• Ensure resource planning and management, and work with recruiting partners on an organized process
• Lead workforce management efforts, including the future of remote work, distributed teams, and planning for the ongoing facilities requirements
• Support and cultivate a an inclusive team culture, advocating values of passion, pioneering, accountability, collaboration and belonging into how we work

Corporate governance
• Guide the goal setting and update process, ensuring accountability in delivery
• Create executive presentations, business review updates and related communications

Budget
• Lead the budget planning process and track progress against goals
• Manage chargeback planning and implementations from EADP back to Studios
• Run financial metrics reviews and hold teams accountable for cost management
• Manage contractor negotiations and cost management

Experience
• You have 12+ years of experience leading complex global projects within technology or entertainment software companies
• Experience leading through influence and building multi-functional coalitions
• Excellent business acumen and judgement arising from deep experience
• Identifying and solving problems, anticipating and planning how to deal with future events, trends, problems, and opportunities
• The ability to prepare and provide analyses and presentations that influence leadership
• Proficient change management skills; experience bringing structure and providing direction for several areas
• Passionate about customer needs and focus: responsive to the needs of our studios and other customers
• Skilled at leading a team with a range of different opinions and interests

Bonus
• Video Game industry experience
• Background in planning and delivering in a large industry or organization across geographic boundaries

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $184,600 - $289,300
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $177,350 - $261,050
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $177,350 - $289,300
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $177,350 - $289,300
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $177,350 - $261,050

The hourly rate is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
