We are looking for a dynamic, articulate and experienced Senior Director of Corporate Communications to join our Global Communications team. In this visible and impactful leadership role, reporting to the VP, you will develop insightful communications strategies that inspire our players, fans, and employees, and influence media, partners and investors.

You are a natural collaborator who champions our brand and communications strategies in a integrated communications environment, operating across every touch point, channel and deliverable stewarding our brand, voice and tone.

You will be a strategic advisor to some of the most important, high-growth areas of our business, guiding and elevating our voices and stories to promote the story of EA's business, our financial and growth strategy, our purpose and values.

You will lead corporate communication strategies for mobile, competitive gaming and our emerging markets in addition to daily corporate communications functionality. The communications teams will need to be aware of the opportunities and challenges that the most dynamic spaces in our industry represent and to explain our strategies globally with local resonance.

As EA expands its global player network, reach and influence in video games, entertainment and sports the Senior Director Corporate Communications will also create the financial and growth narrative for our company. As such demonstrated ability to navigate a connected communications landscape across channels, audiences and geographies will be necessary. Using this expertise, you will develop and guide compelling stories that create maximum impact and navigate complex issues, across global landscapes.

As a leader and member of our Global Communications team, the Sr Director of Corporate Communications will be collaborative, able to align our team while mentoring our talent. You will also represent our function and our strategies to the broader EA organization to drive better connectivity, belief and trust.

Responsibilities
• Company Narrative – Important partner in building and evolving our narrative to support EA's priorities. Oversee the creation of multi-channel communications strategies and materials for announcements and programs, and driving end-to-end global execution.
• Media Relations – Leader in senior executive media relations, including working with partner teams to establish messaging and lead coverage in business, technology, and industry media. You will build partnerships with important reporters and contacts. Advise internal partners on media relations strategies.
• Communications Strategy – you will refine and lead the communications strategy and agenda for EA as part of the Global Communications senior leadership team. Partner with leaders across the company to determine and promote communications strategies for multiple corporate needs and programs.
• Global Alignment – you will help to ensure consistency of corporate communications across all external and internal channels, partnering with other communications leaders and partners across geographies and divisions.
• Issue Management – you will support our strategy and response through issues management planning and crisis communications. Work with teams to plan for and reduce impact of issues at a product and enterprise level.
• Team Management – you will lead ongoing management and mentoring of a corporate communications team within Global Communications, including goal-setting, training, career pathing and development.
• Oversee the creation of the Global Corporate Affairs strategy and be a necessary partner for our US-based policy team and trade association.

Experience:
• 12+ years of experience, with track record in corporate communications, including direct experience working in-house and managing an internal team.
• Passion for gaming and game creators, building player connections, and having fun.
• Expert skills in communications, media relations, writing, message development and reputation management.
• Experienced working with C-level executives inclusive of message development for top leaders and expertise in influencing and advising executives on communication strategies.
• Maintain existing relationships in business, technology, consumer and gaming media outlets and writers.
• Manage high-pressure crisis situations, and work in situations to determine a clear path.
• Experienced at weaving multiple communications programs into a cohesive story.
• Understanding of the important growth areas of the videogames industry including; competitive gaming, mobile and the needs of emerging markets.
• People manager with demonstrated experience motivating and mentoring a team and working collaboratively with colleagues and peers.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred.
