The Sr. Brand Strategist role will report to the Director of Brand Strategy and lead programs that transform EA to provide rewarding experiences to players. Key attributes and skills:
• 10+ years of professional brand strategy and management experience; at least four years in-house at a brand or brand consultancy/agency.
• Experience driving behavioral change.
• Gaming industry experience preferred.
• A mix of experience across brand strategy and product management - having worked across a complex & varied portfolio is preferred.
• Experience managing and supporting (dotted-line) teams and executive level partners.
• Data oriented skills, ability to commission research, transform data into insights and build player journeys.
• A track record for motivating change management across comparable organizations.
• Leadership skills - able to lead outcomes either from direct reports, peers or by managing up.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Great collaborator who excels while working with others.
• Outcome and output oriented - dare we say 'relentless'?
Roles and responsibilities:
• Support Senior Director Brand Management and Strategy Director to translate brand strategy to brand moves: through products, programs, and innovations.
• Originate the strategy to come up with new ideas and directions to support the EA brand strategy through product outcomes.
• Originate strategies that promote behavior change amongst players following the brand strategy.
• Build the strategic rationale, business case and storytelling for brand moves to take to partners including executive leadership.
• Be the voice of the player in all your work and internal interactions, learning and taking ownership of the EA brand muse and our core audience motivators.
• Product-brand strategy leadership for our partner teams e.g. Positive Play and Frostbite. Translate our brand strategy to promote strategic decision-making, product prioritization and future roadmaps with our partner developer teams.
• End-to-end partner management on strategic projects, partnering with our internal team members such as CI and activation where needed.
