Our Global Integrated Communications team is seeking a PR Lead for our Vancouver office.
In this role, you will work directly & report to our FIFA Integrated Communications Director and will be responsible for being the global PR lead for the FIFA franchise. Your key focus will be using your experience working on PR campaigns to jump right in and quickly learn the collaborative processes in which we work.
Working with Global Community, Social, Influencer and International Leads to shape and drive the franchise narrative. In this role, you will be leading the creation and execution of Communication Strategies to establish a strong PR voice amongst your peers and to senior leadership as we look to generate new and consistent coverage for the franchises that you work on. Additionally, you will manage all crisis and brand issues in collaboration with your International partners, corporate communications and studio team. You will also be required to spend lengths of time in-studio at these different franchise locations, working with the and Development Teams, Brand and Activation Managers, Strategy Leads and Community Teams, among others.

Responsibilities:
• Proactively influencing and leading components of the PR plans with oversight of the team lead.
• Active participant in meetings with stakeholders and able to take the lead in coordinating comms activities.
• Proactively driving the execution of stakeholder comms plans with little oversight by leadership.
• Active participant in cross-functional/integrated communications strategy meetings, proactively driving PR strategy recommendations and leading execution of PR initiatives in concert with community and social leads.
• Leader in drafting materials (briefing materials, blogs, messaging, presentations, etc.) and initiating research projects with editing and oversight from lead.
• Coordinates and staffs media interviews with Sr. Leaders and C-suite level executives, able to provide interview prep for spokesperson.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience working in overseeing PR, managing global brand communications or marketing professionals.
• Proficient in writing, grammar, and content-creation abilities.
• Imaginative thinker with the ability to present new ideas to wide audiences.
• Motivated to learn new things about players to improve their experience.
• Objectively interpret media and community feedback and make strategic recommendations back to the business.
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or Game Development.
