You're the Principal Product Manager.

You are part of EA's Customer Experience organization that strives to make EA known for taking care of players. You will report to the Director of Product and lead a product portfolio to both improve existing and develop new player experiences. You lead product planning throughout the product lifecycle to ensure our Customer Experience offerings support the strategy and goals of EA. You'll collaborate with a variety of partners to design the products in your portfolio. You will gain insights from studios and other organizations with Customer Experience that influence your product roadmap. In some cases, you may lead a team of product managers that work within your product portfolio.

You're here to transform the player experience for EA games. You'll continue to manage your product portfolio roadmap for improvements and future releases. You'll work with company partners to understand how to enhance the customer experience. You'll get insight from external partners to understand how to help them and exceed player expectations. You will prioritize features or releases to ensure we meet our short-term goals while moving towards the long-term portfolio vision. You are the go-to person for any issues or escalation within your product portfolio.

You are an expert product manager and great at business analysis, problem statement development and collaboration. You are constantly assessing the trends of customer experience and the gaming and interactive entertainment industries. You balance long-term strategy work with daily tasks. You are successful at leading complex teams and might have experience with people management. You empower your team to achieve their goals and your overall goals. You have experience in the gaming industry and customer experience organizations.

So how does a Principal Product Manager help make EA known for taking care of players?

Product management
• Research, contextualize and apply customer experience and gaming related trends
• Contribute creative ideas that incorporate or speak to the gaming trends and industry developments
• Communicate product line vision, strategy, and roadmaps
• Work with executive sponsors to agree on product strategy, budget, and desired outcomes
• Prepare product marketing collateral to share with all partners
• Establish and track measurable success criteria and metrics, including business measurements
• Understand the use cases of the product line and how changes impact the player, the Customer Experience organization, Studios, or EA
• Improve processes, documentation, and communications

Product strategy
• Collaborate with WWCE leadership in developing, updating, communicating a clear product strategy for your product line
• Ensure all partners understand and are bought into the outlined product line strategy
• Be able to consume and triangulate other company strategies with the CE product strategy
• Understand how your product line works with, contributes to and influence the other products in the CE product team

People management
• Lead a small team of product managers assigned to your product line
• Set priorities, establish timelines, and determine assignments within the product line
• Provide feedback and participate in the career development of your team members

Partner management and communication
• Communicate product line strategy to senior leadership to ensure the roadmap is in consideration of the long-term vision and coordinate proper resourcing and funding
• Lead relationships with vendors, internal partners, and partners, ensuring needs and concerns are considered and addressed
• Promote product benefits to all all partners
• Gather player and internal feedback to lead improvements and inform product roadmap prioritization
• Complete planned projects with shifting partner needs and timelines
Online Forums product line
• Be the face if the Online Forums product line for WWCE, to internal and external partners
• Use player feedback to support your proposals, strategic direction, and priorities
• Focus on bringing clarity to the many concepts associated with the product line
• Sell your product line's strategy, developed from scratch to multiple partners within the company to gain support and agreement

If you're interested in this role, you'll need these skills or experiences:
• Have 7+ years of relevant experience in a Product Management role
