Job Description
We are looking for a PR Manager to join our Global Communications team on a 12-month contract working on the Codemasters portfolio of racing titles. In this role, you will work directly with the Director Integrated Comms, responsible for the global PR roll-out on titles including GRID, WRC, Project CARS and the official F1 series of video games. Your key focus will be using your experience working on PR campaigns to help shape the plans and vision for all future racing titles. In this role, you will be working alongside the Director Integrated Comms, to manage the creation and execution of Communication Strategies to establish a strong PR voice amongst your peers as we look to generate new and industry-leading coverage for the franchises that you work on. You will also be required to work closely with the relevant studio teams, Brand and Activation Managers, Creator Manager and the Social and Creator Senior Manager.

While a UK location is preferred, remote working from another EA represented territory will be considered.
Responsibilities:
• Brings strategic thinking and displays high PR expertise to any planning meetings.
• Develop creative, Communications plans and campaigns that focuses on key features and excites our players and creates opportunities to amplify across owned and social channels.
• Represents the PR function well and takes ownership in senior staff absence.
• Maximize the Earned opportunities within the larger global title campaigns.
• Manage the briefing process across the EA agency network.
• Boosts the coverage of EA franchises across the media landscape.
• Collaborates effectively with different cross-functional and territory teams to plan and execute specific PR activities including media pitching, events and more.
• Quickly grows and maintains a healthy and trustworthy relationship with key spokespeople on different development teams.
• Manages the day-to-day tasks for multiple titles and has the ability to prioritise.
• Maintain current media relations and ability to develop new contacts.
• Represent EA at key industry events and manage virtual events when needed.
• Work with global agency on regular title reporting around key beats and launches.
• Assist with budget recommendations both from a title and territory split. Use data to inform decisions on priority markets.
• Due to the nature of the role, occasional travel or unsocial working hours might be required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred but not a necessity
• PR experience preferably in the videogame industry but not a necessity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with very strong organisational and management abilities.
• High ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage numerous projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to build deep relationships with gaming, technology, sports and entertainment media.
• Highly proficient at presenting communications plans and incorporating feedback.
• Experience at managing agencies. International/global expertise preferred but not essential.
• Ability to play our titles and deliver key messaging during events when needed.
