Narrative Designer - SKATE

This position is open to qualified individuals anywhere in the Americas where EA operates as an employer.

We are looking for an experienced Narrative Designer to join the Skate team. This is an opportunity to join us in the early stages of development on a new entry in the Skate franchise. In this cross-functional role you will partner with the Art, Design, Audio and Tech teams to bring the game narrative to life. You will report to our Creative Director.

Responsibilities
• Help identify and define the game's narrative requirements and framework based on the creative vision.
• Define and implement compelling narrative designs and prototypes that solidify the game concept, and establish how narrative will support our experiential goals using a wide variety of tools and techniques.
• Iterate on narrative systems and mechanics by running playtests, evaluating feedback and reviewing data.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience working as a Narrative Designer on shipped titles
• Strong knowledge and history of implementing Narrative~Cinematics in proprietary Game Engines
• A passion for storytelling
• A positive, collaborative, team-centric mentality
• Aptitude working within large, cross-disciplinary teams
• A willingness to iterate and adapt designs
