International Creator & Social Manager (Action Adventure/Partners)

The International Creator & Social Manager for EA Games is a highly visible and crucial communications role that connects EA and its brands with players in local markets through daily engagement. Working on brands such as Battlefield, The Sims, Apex and Need for Speed as part of the Integrated Communications Team you will leverage deep game expertise with a strong understanding of the social space and working with Content Creators, to deepen overall player engagement and sentiment for EA Games franchises in our international markets.

This particular role will focus on Action Adventure/Partners titles.

You will report directly to the Director, International Integrated Communications and will collaborate with cross-functional teams around the business. You will ensure that our strategies for working with Content Creators and on different social media channels are properly implemented and effectively managed in-market and provide a consistent, high quality and cohesive user experience. As part of our international team focusing on Integrated Communications, you will partner closely with the International Communications Team for our franchises and your direct reports based in the market to develop fully integrated campaigns for our titles. You will also be a key partner of the Brand Marketing Regional Leads and contributor to the EU-LATAM integrated Go to Market Plan.

Primary responsibilities:
• Be the strategic expert for community best practices, programs, and policies and see them implemented across our brands.
• Be the point of contact and expert for our international markets for the EA Games franchises which you will support, assisting with the development and implementation of our marketing campaigns.
• Key partner of the Brand Marketing Regional Leads, International Comms Leads and contributor to the integrated Campaign Go to Market Plan.
• In partnership with Brand Marketing Regional Leads & International Comms Leads, the International Creator & Social Manager is responsible for Creator & Social budget planning, phasing & management.
• Be an effective people manager for your direct reports based in Europe and Latin America & provide support for personal development of team members and foster an inclusive and healthy team culture
• Deliver clear, concise community guidelines integrated into to the go to market plans to support our titles in collaboration with Brand, Communications and Commercial Teams (and Media when applicable)
• Drive Local teams to deliver the in-country Creator & Social contribution to the in country Go to Market Plan
• Deliver reports on key campaign beats for each franchise giving both country breakdowns and a Pan-International overview, offering insights, results analysis and recommendations for future executions.
• Work closely with your team to present as a unified front on long term Creator & Social strategies aligned with Brand Strategy
• Identify Community insight (or gaps) to contribute to the audience lens. Key contributor to the knowledge base of our in-country audience(s)
• In line with Brand Strategy and Campaign objectives for each title, help the team develop local, bespoke and engaging Social and Creator strategies for each territory.
• Provide visibility to internal partners on upcoming content and activations
• Oversee the strategic development and evolution of local platforms in conjunction with regional brand and global functional leads.
• Ensure all Electronic Arts Community standards (Positive Play), policies, and processes are observed and followed.
• Financial and Legal compliance manager for Creator & Social execution.
• Coordinate and share with the wider integrated communications team and brand partners your engagement best practices, standards, and innovations highlighting your personal, and teams, successes and learnings
• Assist with communications around game and live service issues: Bugs, Challenges, Outages, Support Issues
• Be able to provide insight into hot topics within the community and press to assist with the development of messaging
• Maintain a positive reputation at work and within the community
• Dedicate time to playing the games you represent.

Requirements:
• Passion and experience playing EA Games titles and games from other publishers.
• Demonstrable experience working in online communities, social media, journalism, online marketing, content creation or equivalent.
• Clear knowledge of best practices for operating social channels.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to present new ideas effectively.
• A dedicated, self-motivated, detail-oriented team player who is quality driven.
• Excellent problem-solving skills. Able to focus on multiple tasks and effectively set priorities among projects.
• Ability to objectively interpret customer/community feedback and make actionable recommendations.
• Solid understanding of Live Service operations and Development.
• Bachelor's degree (or similar) in Communications or Marketing a plus, but not essential.
