Global Corporate Communications Coordinator Electronic Arts Redwood Shores

Our Global team is looking for a Corporate Communications Coordinator to support both corporate and EA-brand level communications for the business globally. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, you will be an important member in coordinating and project managing across and beyond the team to ensure plans are run on track and ensure important stakeholders are kept informed along the way.

You will work closely with (in addition to the corporate comms team): the in-house integrated comms team, the Public Affairs team, the centralized Corporate agency (Fleishmann Hillard), and central International counterparts (based across Europe).

Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the comms team in the coordination, production and distribution of materials (e.g. media alerts and Q&As etc.), collaborating with multiple stakeholders to maximize implementation opportunities
• Ensure all relevant messaging / media statements are stored in a central location for other team members
• Track and manage interview and spokespeople requests (working with relevant internal team members to ensure these requests are responded to and completed within a predetermined time frame)
• Provide relevant administrative support to the wider team on reputational risk management and crisis response
• (As needed) identify and address opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
• Manage regular reporting to internal stakeholders
• Meeting management - ensuring agendas are shared and populated ahead of time, managing schedules, minute taking, post-meeting follow-ups
• Operational/on ground support of relevant corp comms-led events (once global situation allows for this).
• Finance & LBA support – tracking POs, recharges, new vendor requests, NDAs etc.

Requirements:
• Able to think through problems to find appropriate solutions and challenge established work practices for the betterment of departmental performance.
• Recently College grads with 1-2 years of relevant industry (video games or entertainment) experience
• Project management and organizational skills with close attention to detail to prioritize and organize a very varied work schedule
• Proven skills in creative thinking
• Self-starter – highly motivated individual to keep pace in a busy office
• Team player – broad level of involvement across many marketing areas and many other functions
• Computer Literate – experience of major business applications e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Communicative – strong written, oral and interpersonal skills are required in an international dept. where communication is key
• Passion for communications and entertainment
