Role Overview Finance plays an important role managing the company's financial performance. The Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team drives and helps the company achieve its strategic goals through efficient planning, analysis, decision support and performance management. This position is designed to support the design, build and maintenance of financial systems that are imperative to the success of the finance organization. You will provide exposure to important reporting activities, such as our quarterly Earnings process and Board of Director support.

Responsibilities

Financial Systems
• Be an Expert for Anaplan and Power BI and provide consultation, training and knowledge sharing to finance teams
• Lead efforts for issue resolution for our financial reporting systems from ideation through implementation and stabilization
• Work with teams through Center of Excellence to assist strategizing the long-term roadmap of EA's finance tech ecosystem and establish best practices
• Coordinate a network of model builders and SMEs across Finance to foster collaboration and drive process and system improvements
• Guide the data validation process and participate in the approval process on Total EA forecast scenarios lock
• Develop training material for EA's financial planning systems

Quarterly Earnings
• Prepare multiple reporting constructs to support the quarterly Earnings process
• Drive continued refinements to our recurring FP&A earnings documents and reports
• Project-manage the quality review process

Board of Directors Reporting
• Help produce quarterly Board of Director reporting. Develop proposed meeting material content and messaging.
• Project-manage the preparation of the reports and coordinate with partners
• Help prepare Annual Plan approval deck detailing important assumptions, growth drivers.

Technical Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required – Finance / Economics / Accounting related field.
• 2+ years of related financial experience (corporate experience preferred).
• Passion for learning.
• Comfortable building analysis based off data from multiple sources.
• Comfortable tackling vague projects, resolving them in imaginative and practical ways.
• Rigorous process for review of accuracy.
• Experience preparing analysis for senior executives strongly preferred.
• Adept in MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Anaplan and Power BI.
• You will report to Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A also based in Redwood City, CA
