EAs Competitive Gaming Entertainment group (CGE) is a dynamic part of EA's broad portfolio dedicated to expanding what video game entertainment means. With some of the biggest franchises in video games CGE is driving exciting projects at all scales.

Role Overview

As an FP&A Finance Manager for CGE you will play a critical role in providing operational & strategic partnership for leaders and team members within CGE through partnership across EA. You will engage with our partners to understand the business deeply and help deliver operational and financial performance.

Responsibilities
• Business Partnering
• Build relationships with partners based on collaboration, trust and common goals
• Provide deep financial analysis focused on a variety of areas such as maximizing profitability or resource allocation
• Prepare and present business reviews for leaders focused on the story, not just data, with clear insights and actionable recommendations
• Drive results by partnering on business-related projects such as modeling business scenarios and tracking performance metrics
• Provide leaders with regular updates on outlook, risks and opportunities working across CGE to identify important information and address challenges and opportunities proactively
• Financial Close, Forecasting, Reporting and Analysis
• Run the financial forecast and provide analysis to highlight variance drivers, identify opportunities to mitigate risk and improve performance
• Partner with the Accounting group to manage Close deliverables, timelines, process and reporting
• Create reporting that helps partners achieve financial and operational targets, moving beyond numbers and using visuals and storytelling to make a difference
• Provide project finance support for EA's broadcast endeavor, project Luna
• Review contracts to understand financial terms/impact and work with important partners
• Partner across finance and business teams to ensure successful delivery of projects
• Create ad-hoc analysis to help improve business performance

• Experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
• Minimum 4 years of relevant financial experience
• Experience using tools, processes, and teamwork to work at scale
• Experience moving beyond reporting to synthesis and insight
• Experience solving complex issues using structured techniques and processes
