Come join us! We're hiring a Director, Product Management for Player Safety to join EA's Player Policy & Safety team.

This team exists to help EA players be welcome, safe, and included in our games and experiences. We are part of the Global Affairs organization and you will report to the Senior Director, Player Policy & Safety.

As the Director of Product Management for Player Safety, you will lead a small team of product managers focused on safety requirements for player-to-player interactions like UGC and communications. The team are experts in safe online interactions; they influence engineering resources but do not directly manage them. Your primary focus will be the short-term roadmap to meet EA's goal of a core set of effective, consistent safety tools for the most common UGC like text, image, and audio.

Responsibilities
• Scope and document the safety requirements for services and products or enhance existing ones to fulfill the immediate, short-term needs of our player safety goals.
• Understand the needs of players and multiple internal customers to balance both from a product owner's perspective.
• Align with multiple internal technical teams to deliver an execution plan and roadmap for player safety; ensure all the contributing groups understand what they are building and their constraints.
• Directly product manage more complex products, including requirements, resources, roadmap, post-launch support and product metrics.
• Use metrics and user feedback to understand the effectiveness of our safety solutions and guide ongoing deliverables or refine the short-term plans.
• Partner with Senior Director and Director, Player Safety Strategy on long-term roadmaps and needs for new products.
• Note: Due to the nature of online experiences and our work in player safety, this role may need to review potentially sensitive or offensive content.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product management
• 3+ years managing product managers
• Experience building products that involve large-scale platforms or ecosystems. At least 2+ years working with developer-facing products (e.g., developer tools, consoles, SDKs) in a product role.
• Experience leading a product management team with responsibility over product strategy and influencing multiple engineering teams that each own parts of a system.
• Demonstrated results delivering product solutions or services, including roadmap development, product launches, and using data to report effectiveness.
• Platform mindset, with an understanding of microservices architecture, REST and gRPC APIs, cloud technologies, and developer platforms.
• Technical knowledge to understand and influence design and architecture discussions with engineering teams focusing on end-to-end scenarios.
