Here in EA's Marketing Analytics, we're looking for new members to help expand our horizon, to move our communal thought process. Data-driven decision-making is essential to game development, platform, marketing and operations at EA. We're looking for a thoughtful, disciplined, and quantitative analyst experience and a passion for games and digital marketing technologies. The biggest and single most important aspect that we look for in aspiring colleagues is intellectual curiosity, people who love the joy of discovery, in ending the day knowing a little bit more than when they woke up. You will work with top-talent and the latest technology on performance marketing and User Acquisition that will lead to a unique opportunity to turn your insights into products used by millions of users. You will have a background in a quantitative field and will have experience working with large datasets.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with the User Acquisition team to manage data requirements to support high-quality analysis and reports
• Ensure the analytics team has telemetry and reporting available to answer important business questions
• Produce strategic insights to help guiding User Acquisition strategies
• Present analysis conclusions to partners in a clear and applicable way
• Work with large, distributed data sources to conduct analysis
• Provide guidance to product teams regarding data capture needs
• Identify weak points in the data streams and work with the internal partner to implement solutions to ensure data governance and compliance
• Conduct analysis while following company-wide best practices such as version control, documentation, and reproducibility

Requirements:
• BA or BS in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2-3 years of work experience in a prior analytical role, demonstrating expertise with data to guide our decisions
• Excellent SQL skills, including experience querying complex data sets (MySQL, BigQuery)
• Experience in data mining, machine learning, or statistical modeling
• Experience with data visualization applications (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with programmatic data analysis tools in Python
• Solid understanding of relational databases
