You'll join our Product Engineering team within the Adrenaline division, where you'll implement data quality for our high-scale data products. Your expertise will directly help achieve our organisational goals. You will report to the Director of Data Architecture.
Main Responsibilities:
• You'll develop and automate end-to-end data quality, covering functional, technical and performance metrics.
• Configure and manage data quality tools across multiple platforms.
• Lead the assessment and resolution of data issues, optimising automation for maximum efficiency
• Lead both manual and automated testing plans for our data products.
• Ensure the quality rules execution in our data pipelines, ETL processes, and transformations
• Implement end-to-end testing across diverse systems and interfaces
• Maintain clear documentation for all testing activities
• Create comprehensive test plans that align with product goals and timelines
• Work with product, engineering, stewards, and data governance to implement our testing strategies.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve workflows and implement best practices
• Oversee bug tracking and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure data integrity
• Identify opportunities to enhance data accuracy and reliability
• Ensure data reliability and stability through monitoring and control of automated test suites
• Propose and implement solutions to persistent data quality challenges
• Conduct in-depth cause and effect analysis on complex data issues
• Contribute to the evolution of our data quality standards
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 5 years of experience in data quality, data management, or related role
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with data profiling, cleansing tools and data quality tools
• Experience with data modelling and database design principles
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in Data Observability tools.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $79,900 - $111,900 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
